World-Class Finishing; Inviting and Comfortable

North Pacific interiors are finished to world-class standards with fine materials and finishes. We’ve hired experts and have spent years training our staff in the techniques that we use to attain the level of finish that we and our customers expect. Hand-crafted teak paneled walls, dovetailed drawers, book matched cabinetry, and real teak and holly floors are standard throughout. Drawers and cabinets are flush instead of having heavy teak trim and we use lighter materials in select areas to brighten the feel. In addition to this, headroom and window size is maximized throughout. Routed and bent laminated (no miter joints) trim add an extra touch of luxury and are a noticeable sign of quality.

Adding to the level of comfort, the settees are made to similar dimensions as comfortable home furniture and are masterfully upholstered with Ultraleather material for a soft and inviting look and feel. The interior of the North Pacific 49′ is well lit with Imtra LED lights and LED accent lighting throughout. The combination of good light layering on teak, high ceilings and large windows gives North Pacific interiors a warm feel in any weather, allowing you to feel right at home on the water.

Salon

We believe in large interior living spaces, and the North Pacific does not disappoint. The interior volume is similar to many boats in the 55′ or larger, range. The large full beam salon and 6′10″ ceilings will make you feel right at home.

The salon is fully customizable, and we have many different layouts to choose from. These layouts include built-in settees on either or both sides or open spaces for comfortable furniture, as well as a nice breakfast bar option. There is plenty of storage, with several cabinets and drawers available in any of the layout options. Contact us to let us know what you are looking for and we’ll come up with a layout that will work for you.

Galley

Cooks will love that the galley is in the salon and they will not feel excluded from socializing. The galley is open and spacious. A large and well-lit countertop makes an excellent work surface. Dual stainless steel sinks, each big enough to fit large plates and pots, make cleanup easy. Choose between a glass, induction, or propane cooktop positioned on either side of the galley with a 240v oven under the cooktop and convection microwave above. The large residential style stainless steel fridge/freezer will be the envy of all other boating guests. There are 12 drawers with several cabinets and options for a dishwasher and compactor.

Forward Accommodations

As with the salon, there are several layout options for the accommodations including two or three stateroom layouts or two staterooms and an office. In most of the layout options, the staterooms and heads are accessed directly from the salon, which appeals to many who want to cut down on the number of stairs. There are also full beam mid-ship master stateroom designs with access from the pilothouse.

Master Stateroom

With the plumb bow design, the forward master stateroom is very spacious, allowing for a full queen walk around bed and high ceilings. Teak slats next to the four opening portholes give a rich feel to the stateroom. Backlit, frosted glass cabinetry, a white headboard and mirror, large portholes as well as high ceilings lighten up the stateroom and add to the feeling of spaciousness. Several different layout options with different storage arrangements are also available including a full beam mid-ship master stateroom design.

Guest Stateroom

Whether you choose a two or three stateroom layout, you can have at least one queen bed for guests. Other options include bunks or office configurations. You can also choose a layout with two single beds that can slide together to become a queen and a third fold-down bunk. The port side guest bunk also converts into a desk, making this a very versatile stateroom.

Linen Closet

At the forward end of the hallway, on the starboard side, there is a linen closet with a plethora of storage. This space can also be used to install a vented washer/dryer, stacked washer and dryer, or an extra freezer.

Heads

The heads are richly finished with teak walls and teak/holly floors. Premium solid surface counters are standard, and you have the choice between an undermount or raised ceramic or glass sink. The standard toilets are the comfortable and reliable Tecma Silence Plus. The adjoining separate showers are molded fiberglass, have nice frosted glass doors with the NP logo inscribed into them and a mosaic accent wall. The showers have over 6’7″ of headroom and plenty of space to move around. The shower drains to a Whale automatic sump pump. Large stainless steel portholes provide nice ventilation.

Pilothouse

The expansive pilothouse on the North Pacific 49′ offers excellent visibility and has room for two Stidd or Llebroc helm seats. Aft of the helm seats is a large, L-shaped settee and table, providing a comfortable place for crew with an unobstructed forward view. The settee quickly and easily converts to a large single bed. Because the staterooms and heads are accessed from the salon, the pilothouse can serve as another private stateroom after a day of cruising.

Standing to the starboard side of the helm, you can easily see the aft end of the swim platform. With two opening doors and an aft window, you will feel confident piloting the NP49 from the pilothouse in any situation. The two doors and three sliding windows provide plenty of ventilation.
