44′ Sedan

Interior

Luxury and Comfort

North Pacific teak interiors are finished to world-class standards with fine fittings and finishes. We’ve hired experts and spent years training our staff in the techniques that we use to attain the level of finish that we expect.

Real teak and holly flooring is standard throughout. The hand-crafted teak paneled walls, dovetailed drawers and flush cabinetry are all bookmatched throughout. In addition, we use routed trim with bent lamination to ensure that the color remains consistent throughout with no noticeable miter joints.

While the NP44 exudes a high quality traditional finish, we’ve incorporated modern materials to brighten up spaces and add a luxurious feel. Our focus on the high ceiling, large windows and direct and indirect lighting achieves the perfect effect allowing you to feel right at home on the water.

Salon

The salon on the 44′ Sedan is about 22′ long and surrounded by large windows offering a 360-degree view. The ceilings are 6′10″, adding to the feeling of spaciousness. The area is expansive and customizable. The aft part of the salon can be configured with a L-settee (convertible bed) on the starboard side and a table that can comfortably seat 6 for dinner. On the port side is space for two recliners or another settee. Alternatively, you can opt for a dinette on the port side with a settee on the starboard side or space for two recliners. With either option, the aft part of the salon makes a great living and entertaining space. If you have other ideas, we’ll work with you to create your perfect home on the water.

Galley

The galley on the 44 Sedan is a great place for the chef of the family. Near the salon, the cook will not be left out of the action and will have great views out the large windows. The galley is big enough to rival many larger vessels, making cooking enjoyable. Inset in the solid surface countertop is a large single- or double-basin sink. There are different drawer and cabinet layouts available with all the choices allowing for plenty of storage. A three burner Force10 propane or electric stove and oven is standard equipment, as is a 9 cu.ft fridge/freezer.

Helm

The helm area of the 44′ Sedan is similar to that of a pilothouse. It is slightly raised and separated by cabinetry aft of the two leather helm seats. A door right next to the helm, 360-degree visibility, a large rudder and an oversized thruster make handling in tight quarters a breeze. Furthermore, just outside the door is a bulwark door allowing for easy and quick access to the dock. Forward of the teak steering wheel is a raised helm and a full, standard suite of Garmin electronics. Even with the raised dash there is great visibility forward from the helm seats.

Lower Decks

Guest Stateroom

The guest stateroom comes standard with two single beds and they can be made to slide together into a larger bed. White headboards, plenty of lighting, high ceilings and a large porthole make this a comfortable space for your guests. Six drawers, a shelf, bedside table and generous hanging locker provide plenty of storage. The guest stateroom is customizable and we have several layouts that include an office with settee, convertible office/stateroom or incorporating the guest room into a greater master stateroom.

Master Stateroom

Aside from a great look and extended LWL, the biggest advantage to having a plumb bow, like the 44 Sedan, is that it allows us to use the full beam of the boat, farther forward. Because of this design, the 44 Sedan has a lower bed than most other boats in this size range. The bed is only one step up from the platform. From the platform, you can easily reach the front of the bed, meaning the bed is much easier to make. Though the bed is available in a true queen, the foot end is usually built with a slight taper, to increase useful space around the bed. A white headboard, high ceilings and a large mirror add to the feeling of spaciousness. The rope light and back lit, frosted glass cabinetry contribute to the warm and inviting feel of this stateroom. One of the best features of the master stateroom is the amount of storage that is available. The standard design has seven cabinets, two hanging lockers, five drawers and lots of space under the lift assisted mattress.

Many people worry about “chine slap” in a forward stateroom but we have addressed this concern. By raising the spray chine on the bow to over two feet above the waterline, we have eliminated chine slap, in all but the worst conditions.

Head(s)

The standard 44 Sedan layout includes one head, but there is a two head design available. Please see the layouts page. The head is finished with teak walls/ trim and teak and holly flooring. A mirrored ceiling, large porthole and plenty of lighting make the space feel comfortable and spacious. A premium quality solid surface counter with an undermount ceramic sink, a mirror and two cabinets are standard. The Tecma Silence Plus toilet is reliable, quiet and comfortable. A separate shower stall is accessed through a frosted glass door. The shower has a molded seat, large porthole and quality shower fittings. A 6″ mosaic strip adds a touch of class. The shower drains to a Whale gray water diaphragm style pump that does not require screen cleaning.

With the single head design, the head can be accessed privately through a locking door from the master stateroom or through a door from the hallway. When two heads are chosen, the only access to the master head is through the master stateroom, and the guest head is through the hallway or the guest room.
